EESIFLO Meters & Sensors Johor, JB, Malaysia

The EASZ-1 is a pipe-installed, loop-powered, 2-wire online monitor for measuring water in oil (Water-Cut) or water in hydrocarbon streams, functioning as a BS&W (Basic Sediment and Water) monitor. It uses capacitance to detect changes in the oil's dielectric constant caused by water, providing real-time measurements in ppm or percentage for various applications like crude oil separators, pipeline transfer, and fuel quality control. The device offers fast response times, temperature compensation, and can be calibrated with options for hazardous area certifications.

How it Works
  • Dielectric Principle:
The EASZ-1 operates on the principle that oil and water have significantly different dielectric constants
  • Capacitance Measurement:
By measuring the change in capacitance within the fluid stream, the sensor can accurately determine the amount of water present, whether it's dissolvedemulsified, or free.

Key Features and Benefits
  • Real-Time Measurement:
Provides immediate, online monitoring of water content for instant diagnostics and control.
  • Versatile Application:
Suitable for crude oil, fuels, lubricants, and other hydrocarbons in various stages of processing and transportation.
  • Fast Response:
Features a rapid response time of just one second to significant changes in water content.
  • Loop-Powered:
    A 2-wire, loop-powered system for simple installation.
  • Temperature Compensation:
Incorporates temperature compensation for accurate readings across different conditions.
  • Hazardous Area Certification:
Can be manufactured and certified for use in dangerous environments like the oil and gas industry.

Applications
  • Crude Oil Processing:
Ideal for first, second, and third stage separators, and during crude oil transfer in pipelines.
  • Fuel and Lubricant Quality:
Monitors the quality of diesel, fuels, and lubricating oils to prevent degradation and component damage.
  • Marine Applications:
Used on vessels for monitoring water in engine and hydraulic oils.
  • Process Control:
Allows for the automatic control of oil purifiers and separators, starting them only when necessary.
